Dr. Eduardo Sucupira is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon and Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. He graduated in Medicine for the Federal University of the Mining Triangle in 1990, in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, his home town.

After graduation, Dr. Eduardo Sucupira completed 8 years of training as resident in two specialties. He was resident of General Surgery in the Hospital of the Armed forces in Brasília, Federal District, from 1991 to 1993, having been invited to continue his specialization for one more year in the same city. In 1994, he began his Specialization in Plastic Surgery, already in Rio de Janeiro, starting in 1997 the Masters degree in Plastic surgery for PUC, under Teacher Ivo Pitanguy's Service.

Dr. Eduardo Sucupira concluded his specialization in 1999 and begun his private practice. In 2002 he became Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic surgery. He is Titular Member of the Brazilian School of Surgeons and of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He currently does teaching at the 10th and 11st Enfermaries of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Rio de Janeiro” as Mentor in Plastic Surgery.

He always keeps himself updated with the most recent techniques in Plastic Surgery by continuously participating in medical education conferences, both nationally and internationally. These events provide him with great experience and ongoing update, as well as with the best information to diagnose and to treat imperfections in all the areas of the human body.

Always adopting a discerning clinical evaluation, Dr. Sucupira studies patients' relevant aspects and analyses them properly before rigorously proceeding to plan the pre and postoperative of the surgeries. The purpose of such a meticulous method is to assure a fast and favorable patient recovery.
